No longer recall entire dream but do vividly recall two scenes from it. The first was an aerial view looking down upon a large volcanic plain and in several places there was red hot molten lava bubbling upward in what appeared to be little "potholes"(for lack of a better description).
The second scene was of a native polynesian? woman with very long jet black hair standing barefoot upon this volcanic plain. She was dressed in a simple white short sleeved dress. As I watched, she walked over to one of the holes of bubbling molten lava and knelt down next to its edge.
There were four black stone bowls sitting next to the lava hole. The woman took each bowl one at a time and dipped them into the molten lava until they were all full of the red-orange liquid. She placed each bowl at the sides of the lava hole in a north-south/east-west position. Then she raised both hands heavenward and sang a song that sounded very much like Hawaiian or a similar language.
Following this, she took each bowl one at a time and held it heavenward and sang another song. She sang a different song for each of the four bowls. After each song she replaced the bowl in her hands to its original position. Clearly this was some kind of ritual or ceremony and clearly very sacred.
The most amazing thing to me as I watched this whole thing was that the woman appeared to be unaffected by the heat of the lava plain as she walked, then knelt upon it. Even more amazing was that she dipped the four black stone bowls into the liquid lava with her bare hands and was unaffected by this physically.
I was awakened by a loud noise from outside and did not go back to sleep.
I've been wondering about the meaning of these scenes most of the day today. Wondering if there are four volcanoes about to erupt in the Pacific ring of fire? Or perhaps the woman represents the Earth Mother and she is healing herself?
Cannot recall the earlier part of the dream so I have no full context of why I was there watching all this. I do recall there being someone with me but do not recall who it was. I also recall we were above and looking down but out of body as we did so.
Comments welcome.

The woman in your dreams sounds like the spirit of Pele..... In Hawaiian mythology, Pele is a goddess of fire, lightning, dance, volcanoes and violence, a daughter of Haumea and Kane Milohai. She lives on Kilauea. The Hawaiian (Polynesian) goddess of the fire in the volcano, the mother of eruptions. She is a ravishing, whimsical goddess who resides in the volcano Kilauea on Hawaii. Daughter of the goddess Haumea. She is the personification of the (female) power of destruction and her jealous rages were believed to cause Kilauea's eruptions. Pele also controls lightning. Her favorite sister is Hi'iaka (or Hi'iaka i ka poli o Pele), the patroness of hula dancers. Pele was born in Honua-Mea, part of Tahiti. Because of her eruptive temper, her father Kane Milohai exiled her from their home island. She was given a canoe and traveled north in search of an auspicious island in which to make her home. She visited many islands but whenever she started digging, thinking to make the foundations of her new house, the place appeared to be unsatisfactory for some reason or other. The pits she dug can still be seen, as immense craters, relics of extinct volcanoes now filled with water. Finally she arrived on Hawaii, where she created Mount Kilauea, her new home. Pele became very happy there because it was the Navel of the World, Ka Piko o ka Honua. There, the gods began Creation. Pele appears in many forms, such as a young child, a beautiful young girl or an old crone. She usually wears black. http://www.mythicalrealm.com/legends/pele.htmlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pele_%28mythology%29http://www.hranajanto.com/goddessgallery/pele.html

MC, I also thought of the volcano goddess Pele when I read your dream. The four bowls and the four directions seem to indicate a sacred ceremony. To me, the ceremony indicates that Pele is about to begin something, and it being Pele, it would be a volcanic eruption. One large one, or 4 smaller ones? If 4, then perhaps they are in the four directions. However, I am more inclined to think of one large one because of the ceremonial use of the bowls and the four directions. This method is used to invoke the powers of the four direction to aid in the work, and is usually used in larger works, and for more serious purposes. Just my opinion.

MC, did you read the post on the Phenomena Board about the 3 volcanoes showing signs of getting ready to erupt? Maybe that is what the 4 bowls are? 4 smaller eruptions? That would be lots better than the one large eruption, I think.

DW...thanks so much for the info relating to Daniel....been having a myriad of dreams(not yet posted)regarding some passages from Isaiah,Jeremiah, Hosea, Joel, Obadiah, etc. All are connected and last night was a passage about a "voice heard in Ramah...Rachael weeping for her children..." When I'm feeling better I'll try to put it all together in some co-herent form.
Eve&Djazz: Yes! Pele! I should've thought of that since I lived in Hawaii back in 1949-1952...I was very young back then but certainly knew quite a bit about pele and the volcanics of the islands...my daddy's hobby was flying over those volcanoes on the Big Island and taking photographs and he always took me along! Thanks! That certaintly pulled up some old rusty brain-files!

MC, I think the eruptions are about to begin. It may be a premonition dream. Mother Earth giving us a warning through you. It really sounds like a wonderful dream. I bet you felt alive after that.

I have to post again because I just noticed that I posted at 5:55:05. Whenever I see 555 on the clock it usually means there is something coming so prepare.

Thanks...yes, it's a message to prepare...I wonder if it's a volcano in Mexico...Popo or Colima...not sure why I've been thinking of those two off and on most of this evening.
